web_search | Searches the live web. Five results by default, up to ten on request, each with a title, the URL and a short excerpt, plus up to three news results. |
fetch_page | Reads one page as Markdown, trimmed to 12,000 characters. --no-contents leaves it out. |
research | A synthesized answer with citations, for a question that needs several sources. Slow, tens of seconds, so it is added only with --research. |
--domains a,b limits web_search results to bare hostnames, up to fifty, and --freshness day|week|month|year to recent pages; neither restricts fetch_page or research. The calls go through the account’s own credential, so there is no key to add; dev uses the signed-in session the same way.
