Edge Compute provides visibility into StatefulActor execution through actor logs and actor metrics. Use the CLI for day-to-day debugging; both commands accept a type name or id (resolved like actors inspect) and read a fixed window of history — read-only reports, not live streams.

What you can observe

Both commands require CLI v0.5.8 or newer. Function-level observability — for the functions that hold the actor bindings — lives in Edge Compute observability: function logs, function metrics, deployment history, and health checks. Actor types themselves have no deployment lifecycle to inspect; their runtime hosts are managed by the platform.
