# Isolation

> How a Tailscale Subnet Router is separated from other Networks and from the internet inside Telnyx.

* Each router serves one [*Network*](/docs/network/overview) and is isolated from every other *Network*.
* The *Network* gains no internet access from the router.
* The router's own connection to Tailscale carries no *Network* traffic.
* Traffic between a device behind the router and the router is a WireGuard tunnel. Inside Telnyx it stays on the *Network*.
