# accept()

## HarnessRunAcceptance

## HarnessRunAcceptanceOptions

`key` is the required idempotency key. It is a non-blank string of at most 512 bytes. A repeat call with the same key and the same input returns the existing run with `duplicate` set to `true`. A repeat call with the same key and different input throws.

`admit` is an optional admission check. It runs inside the admission transaction, after the key lookup and before the run is inserted. When it returns `false`, no run is inserted and `accept()` rejects.

`journalSeq` is an optional actor-journal sequence. The harness records it as the run's journal boundary before the run executes. It must be a non-negative safe integer, and any other value throws.

Exact actor-journal boundary captured before this run can begin execution.
